Big Game Challenge - Kambalda. 6m x 2m Canvas board game of the town of Kambalda including historical and natural heritage features. A Community Art project created by the children of the district with the guidance and assistance of Community Artist Irene Osborne.

Game designed and created by the youth of Kambalda, with community artist Irene Osborne from Perth.

Project Idea:
This project involves creating a giant playable game that depicts cultural life and heritage of the Kambalda community.

Game details:
The aim of the game is to discover Kambalda's cultural heritage, encountering Kambalda's historic events, and local wild life along the way, to ultimately strike it rich with a major gold discovery. Time frame set from Pioneer days to 21st Century, to start and end in Kambalda.
Use an octagonal disk instead of a dice to play.
Players to move along approx 42 spaces around the map.
Chance cards to have options to go back or forward.
This game to be played by 2 players or up to 2 teams of 4 players
Kambalda map, is to be the basis of the game with the roads used to travel around a circuit to return next to the starting point.
