The Australian landscape has always provided constant inspiration, for Irene, pulling at her creative soul for expression. Her favourite mediums are watercolour, gouache and acrylics, although she happily uses all mediums with confidence, working either in her studio or in the field, often in locations remote in WA. Irene's paintings are a celebration of the earth, of nature and life and her means of sharing her world with others. She is well known for capturing the essence or "sense of place" each location presents.

For more than 30 years, this accomplished artist has been constantly involved in the arts, building an impressive CV. Irene Osborne is eagerly sought after by astute collectors for her unique artworks, or for doing community and public arts projects anywhere in Western Australia.
