This mural was painted on the concrete floor of a balcony in a children's respite centre.
The brief was to create a colourful underwater fantasy scene that was stimulating and interesting for children using the centre. The border can be likened to a beach, it includes stylised shells starfish and sand patterns painted around the outer edge of the coral reef and fish.
The children cared for in the cottage, love their mural, finding a myriad of different fish, shells, starfish and octopus etc among the corals.
